On the Menu: Microwave Corn Casserole!:)

HERE’S A MUST-HAVE RECIPE FOR ANY COOK:

Corn Casserole

Okay, so on most recipes you MIGHT stop reading there…The name sounds delicious, but maybe you don’t like the hassle of discerning the difference between a tsp and a teaspoon. But this recipe is on any cook’s level, because it is, ….dun, dun, dun….A MICROWAVE RECIPE!! BUT…it is a microwave recipe that is a cut above the rest!

Like I said before, I’m learning how to cook too. So I kind of made this up and put the ingredients together, but it turns out SO pretty and good tastingI think I might be a natural at this chef business, lucky for all of you.

FIRST: Get a glass bowl (small enough to fit in the microwave, but big enough to cook a normal sized concoction in)
SECOND: You’ll need one can of corn. (I’m just going to give you the ingredients as I go because it’s a pain to write them all out at the top. So just skim over the recipe first to make sure you have everything. If you DON'T have everything, just comment below and I'll give you some subsitutes.

THIRD: Use a can opener to open the can of corn. Instructions below for beginners.

FOURTH: Dump the corn inside of the can into the bowl, and then throw away the can and lid.

FIFTH: NOW you need to take the bowl with the corn in it to the sink, hold it under the faucet, turn it on, and put a good amount of water in it.
SIXTH: Turn faucet off, take bowl out from under it and set the bowl back on the counter. NOW, get some noodles. The twisty kind or the ones shaped like bowties. But don’t use the thin stringy stuff, it’ll mess it all up. Anyways, get a package of noodles, open the package and dump the noodles inside. Now throw away the package.
SEVENTH: Now, go to your cabinet, open one package of jiffy cornbread mix and pour that in the bowl with the corn, water, and noodles, as well. Dispose of package. If there is no cornbread mix, put in a handful of flour instead.
EIGHTH: Go to wherever you keep the cans of beans, and grab one. Now open it and dispose of it the same way you did with the can of corn.

NINTH: Okay you’re ALMOST done…Just go to your spices and get out some pepper and paprika and dump a healthy amount of both in the bowl.

TENTH: Mix all the ingredients in the bowl together. You should have: A glass bowl, with corn, water, noodles, cornbread mix or flour, beans, pepper and paprika. IF THIS IS NOT what you have or if there is anything else in the bowl besides those ingredients, refer to FIRST.

ELEVENTH and LAST step: Cover the bowl with foil, and poke some holes in the top with your fork. NOW, put it in the microwave and set it for 1 minute and thirty seconds. YES, this is ALL the time you need for it to bake…it’s a super easy recipe!!

You've just made Microwave Corn Casserole in 11 EASY steps!!

When it comes out it should look like THIS:

IF, by any chance, it does not, YOU SHOULD’VE referred back to FIRST when I TOLD you to…but it should come out just peachy and taste AWESOME…Send me pictures of your results, I can’t wait to see them!

NOW, This one was super easy as it was our first recipe, but as we go along I’m going to increase the hardness. But stay with me, because this is the ONLY way we’re going to figure out how to cook.

UNTIL NEXT TIME, when we make a chocolate vinegar cake!:)

Nonsense...we wouldn't tell people to do something that would cause any sort of trouble!!!!

AS A MATTER OF FACT...we'll be talking about kitchen safety in the upcoming weeks. :)
