TODAY IS PECULIAR TREASURES BLOG'S ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!!
We are actually on the phone right now, as I type this!! We were wondering exactly when our one year anniversary was, and so I decided to go and look and find out exactly when it was. Lo and behold....
IT'S TODAY!
I was just shocked out of my socks and started screaming and stuff!! October 10, 2010, (10/10/10) is Peculiar Treasures' one year anniversary!! WOW!!
We've come A LONG WAYS. We started out this blog at about 3:00AM Central standard time (1:00AM Mountain standard time for Cara) while on some crazy mission to stay up all night on the phone. We were discussing Robin Jones Gunn's Christy Miller Series and Katie Weldon Series and talking about how much we loved the book Peculiar Treasures. Then, we started talking about the verse, Exodus 19:5, where "peculiar treasures" originates from.Thank the Lord for that verse of scripture:):) Click here to read the post where Cara talks about our all night/morning adventure:)
SOOO... Cara just came up with the brilliant idea to start a blog!! Click here to read our VERY FIRST post.
We had no clue what would come of it, and to be real honest, I doubted we'd keep up with it for very long. But, here we are, one year later, doing Marriage Month at Peculiar Treasures and we are STILL loving it!!!

happy one year and uh two days. sorry im late. and uh i got ya a gift but it was delicious looking and i soon found out that it also taste delicious. :)
