Mama, HELP! #4 - "ACTUALLY, I was only kidding..."

HEY, Y'ALL! SO I'm totally personalizing this week's Mama, HELP! (sorry I been slacking.... =/) Most of y'all that read this blog and know either one of us will probably know EXACTLY what I'm talking about when you just START reading this week's issue!!

ANYWAYS!! So, what did you think of when you read the title, "ACTUALLY, I was only kidding..."? When I read that title I think of something totally embarrassing... Anything at all that can happen to you that's embarrassing that someone said or did, you made a big deal out of it, and GUESS WHAT? It ends up a biggo joke! (yep, y'all know where I'm headed =D)

SOOO.... I have a question for you! Have you EVER had one of those terribly embarrassing moments when someone says, "HAHA, I was just kidding!" Well, let me tell you, I have! SO I am definitely the one to be writing this post....

So, main idea for this week's Mama, HELP!: You just have someone tell you something, do something to you, etc, and you make a TOTAL big deal out of it, COMPLETELY believing them (no matter HOW many times you have said you would never believe them again...). AND THEN, after you make a big deal, like sending a mass email to the "inner cool" and even some extra people, writing a big "OFFICIAL PROTEST" post for your blog, and THEN griping about it to your parents and everyone else you talk to... Well after you have all this drama going on (seriously thinking about suing a company), you get a phone call. "HAHAHAHAHA, I WAS JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!" or "AAAHAHAHAHA THAT WAS ME THE WHOLE TIME!!!" (this is in those I-think-I'm-being-stalked situations). HOW EMBARRASSING, RIGHT?

Okay, so, since I have been in this little predicament, I have some very useful tips! =) (and yes, you all have PROBABLY figured it out by now... I'm talking about my T-mobile incident.... =p)

1. ALWAYS GO WITH YOUR GUT INSTINCT until it's proven ABSOLUTELY wrong! Never just assume that it's real, until you know FOR A VERY FACT that whatever it is, IS INDEED, true! This can lead to all of the following do-not-do's....
2. NEVER SEND OUT A MASS EMAIL! It doesn't matter if it's "confirmed" or not... NEVER SEND OUT A MASS EMAIL!!! This can cause MAJOR embarrassment, and people will laugh at you behind your back... Wonderful feeling, you know!!
3. If you send out a mass email..... DO NOT REPLY ALL WITH HUFFY, ANGRY RESPONSES. This will cause people to accuse you of being a sissy, or not being able to take a joke, etc.... And it's kinda embarrassing when everyone's laughing at you.
4. If your "best friend" (haha, Cara, I love ya) decides to reply all with a wonderful email saying how you got all mixed up and starts laughing and everything, DO NOT GET MAD AT HIM/HER. In actual reality, it's not their fault. You should NOT have sent out a mass email in the first place.... HAHA!
   
5. DON'T ANSWER YOUR PHONE AT 12:30 AT NIGHT, WHILE YOU'RE HALF ASLEEP AND IN A BIG GROUCHY-POO MOOD!! Again... major embarrassment. Really ruins your sleep for the rest of the night. This could get the person on the other end of the phone slightly frustrated at you, and you could be accused of being all "grouchy" "gripey", etc. Which, BTW, are not fun things to be called.... Even if they are true ;)
   
6. Last, but certainly not least, ALWAYS CARRY AN OXYGEN MASK IN YOUR BACK POCKET/PURSE. Really, it can be quite useful, especially when your face starts turning all red (you can hide). Plus, you might be able to breathe a little easier... BUT REALLY, who knows? =) For other uses of this mask, refer to Mama, HELP! #1 - "Stuck in the Stairwell" and Mama, HELP! #2 - "HOT GUY ALERT!"
